The Visual inspiration for this piece was the glorious primitivism of the sleeve art that appeared on many early compilation albums of music of Jamaican origin. The musical inspiration is obviously Rocksteady; a style of music that reigned for a mere 18 months or so, but still has the facility to pack dance floors - as Soft Wax knows well.

Soft Wax has exhibited widely in galleries and exhibition centres, he also has had a standing exhibition at Lion Vibes in Brixton for over 4 years now.
